The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton
If for some reason any student is absent from school for any amount of time from February 12 - March 20th we will be working on our in-depth novel study in class. The novel that we read as a class is called "The Outsiders" by S.E. Hinton. Throughout the next month and a half, we will be working on a book report which will be kept in the classroom in a folder. However, when I feel enough time has been given to students who are working on a particular assignment, they are informed to take it home to finish. Any time a student is absent from class they should look at the link on the worksheets page of this site which contains all the worksheets of the book report and work on one of them. They are encouraged to type up their final draft of each assignment and of course revise and edit any work that is placed in their folders.
